Who am I?

I am a young woman (31) who loves nature, adventure, and traveling in varied forms. I work full-time; this blog is meant to be a hobby. I haven’t decided yet whether I will tell the greater internet my real first name or my job, partly because of the nature of my job and partly because I am reluctant to put some aspects of my life out on the internet.

Why did I start this blog?

I don’t plan to ever transition to the life of a full-time influencer or travel planner. I created this blog for myself as I record my own travel adventures, to help others plan their own amazing adventures, and for my family, both to keep them up to date with my life and to help them plan their trips to visit me.

Why Alaska?

My husband and I are moving to Alaska for my job with our two cats. It is an adventure that scares us but that we are nonetheless excited for. We have never lived north of Bethesda, Maryland. My husband has never been to Canada; however, we are planning to drive up to Alaska via the Alaska Highway to start the next adventure of our lives in Anchorage, AK.
